A private retreat for ambitious women navigating reinvention
Reserve Your SeatAbout Sova
Sova is a boutique retreat for ambitious women who have built something remarkable — and who sense, quietly but insistently, that something needs to change.
Named for the owl — that symbol of clear sight in the dark hour before dawn — Sova creates the conditions for the thinking you can't do at your desk. Small group. Private setting. A precisely structured experience designed to move you from knowing something is off to knowing exactly what comes next.
How It Works
Leave the noise. A private setting that creates the space for the kind of thinking you simply can't do at your desk, between meetings, or at home.
Structured workshops and guided reflection that move you from vague discomfort to honest clarity — in a room of women who understand exactly where you are.
You don't leave inspired and vague. You leave with a personal autonomy blueprint and a 90-day action plan you actually believe in.
To be clear
Not a spa weekend. Not a mastermind. Not a conference. Not therapy.
Sova is a strategic retreat. You'll be challenged, supported, and leave with real direction — not just a good feeling that fades by Wednesday.
This is not a room where you have to translate yourself.

Who This Is For
Sova is not for everyone. It's for a specific woman at a specific moment.
"You have spent years being the most prepared person in rooms that still made you prove it. You deserve a room that already knows."
The Sova Philosophy
Behind Sova
Sova Retreats
This retreat exists because I needed it and it didn't.
I spent over a decade building large-scale programs at some of the most recognized organizations in the world — leading teams, managing complex operations, earning a seat at the table. By every external measure, things were going well.
I built Sova for a specific woman. One who has had to work twice as hard to be taken half as seriously. Who has learned to modulate her tone so it reads as measured, not passionate. Who has managed her expression in rooms where being too direct meant being labeled difficult, and too warm meant not being taken seriously. Who has code-switched so many times it became automatic. Who has achieved more than most — and still carries the quiet weight of wondering if it's ever going to be enough.
But I kept looking for something that would give me real space to think. Not a conference. Not a coaching package. Not a long weekend that left me feeling motivated but no clearer. I wanted something with actual structure — the kind that moves you from knowing something is off to knowing what to do about it. I couldn't find it, so I built it.
Sova draws on everything I've learned about what makes high-stakes experiences actually work: that environment shapes thinking, that small groups tell the truth, and that the right structure unlocks what years of good intentions can't.

Questions
Is this therapy or coaching?
Neither. There are no therapists here, no coaches, and nobody telling you what to do with your life. The workshops are frameworks — you bring your own situation, you do your own thinking. We build the structure. The insights are yours.
Who else will be in the room?
A small group of women, each personally reviewed before being accepted. You can expect people at a similar point in their careers — accomplished, senior, in the middle of figuring out what's next. Sova isn't a networking event, but the connections that come out of it tend to stick.
Where is the retreat held?
We choose the property based on each cohort — the location changes. When you apply, you'll select a general region that works for you. Once your seat is confirmed, you'll get the full picture: the property, travel logistics, and nearest airports. We look for places that are easy to get to and genuinely worth being at.
What's the refund policy?
Your $500 deposit is non-refundable. If you cancel more than 30 days before the retreat, your remaining balance comes back to you in full. Within 30 days, it's non-refundable — but we'll do our best to move you into a future cohort.
How is this different from a conference or mastermind?
Conferences give you information. Masterminds give you community. Sova gives you neither of those as the primary goal — it gives you clarity about your own situation and something concrete to act on when you leave. No keynotes, no panels, no homework you'll never do. Small, focused, and private on purpose.
Is this tax deductible?
Many attendees treat it as professional development. We're not going to give you tax advice, but we do provide an itemized receipt that works for expense documentation if you need it.
What if I don't have it figured out before I arrive?
Good — that's the point. You don't need to arrive with the answer. You need to arrive willing to be honest about what isn't working. That's the only real requirement.
How do you select the cohort?
Carefully. Every application is read personally and we're looking for a specific kind of fit — not just professional background, but where someone is in their thinking and what they're genuinely ready to do. We also consider the group dynamic as a whole. A cohort works best when the women in the room are at a similar level of honesty with themselves.
